During 21/22 The Christie Foundation Trust was the corporate trustee to The Christie Charitable Fund whose assets, liabilities and transactions are consolidated into the Trusts Group financial balances. During 22/23 it is anticipated that The Christie Charitable Fund will make an application to the Charity Commission to become a new independent charity. If this application is successful the Charity will become a new entity outside the control of The Christie Foundation Trust, unaffected by the National Health Service Act 2006 and independent of the Department of Health and Social Care.
