Chemosaturation is a new treatment for patients with certain types of primary and metastatic liver cancers. The treatment delivers a high dose of chemotherapy directly to the liver, helping to slow or reverse the growth of the tumours. The therapy is only currently available privately in the UK at a small number of centres. The team at The Christie Private Care was the first across the globe to administer the treatment through the radial artery, instead of via the traditional route in the groin.
