* In 2021-22 interest has been received from the Government Banking Service (GBS) account and the commercial account from December 2021 onwards. Average interest rates were 0.31% (2020-21 0%) on the Government Banking Service (GBS) account and 0.15% (2020-21 0%) on the commercial accounts .
** In 2020-21 the interest received was minimal due to the interest rate dropping to 0%, this resulted in an over-accrual as at 31st March 2020, hence the positive figure reported in the prior year 2020-21
