25. Events after the reporting year The Covid-19 pandemic has had and continues to have a significant impact on the UK and worldwide. Due to the timing of the pandemic (March 2020), this has not had a significant impact on the group operations (The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, The Christie Pharmacy Limited and The Christie Charitable Fund) or component entities (investments in joint ventures) during the 2019-20 financial year. The Covid-19 pandemic will have an impact on all of the Trust group operations and investments in 2020-21. However the extent and impact will vary across the group and investments and cannot yet be determined.
