Risk assessment for staff at higher risk of complications from respiratory infections are risk assessed in relation to their personal circumstances. The trust has responded to the changes in national guidance in a timely and responsive manner. Risk assessments are undertaken with the individual staff member and line manager, with central records held by Workforce. The risk assessments are undertaken in two parts: The initial risk assessment. See previous Individual Staff Risk Assessment Part 2). The trust also has a new and expectant mothers risk assessment that has been adapted to include COVID-19. See New and expectant mothers risk assessment. The same deployment advice applies to any bank, agency and/or locum staff. However, this should also be monitored by the employing agencies.

Vaccination and testing policies are in place as advised by occupational health/public health

Vaccination and testing policies are in place as advised by national public health guidance. Flu vaccination is mandated for health and social care staff. The trust is currently undergoing a scoping exercise for those staff that would be in or out of scope for a mandated COVID019 vaccine. Exemptions for both Flu and

COVID-19 testing at present is not mandated for staff.

Staff testing compliance is closely monitored and actions taken to give assurance of
