"The Pals service, especially Jessica Nichols, were most helpful and supportive in getting a vital appointment with the Sarcoma team after biopsy and records regarding my sister had been mislayed." Very thankfully Jessica Nichols of Pals arranged for my sister to meet the Sarcoma team on 1st November, and the reason for the biopsy being mislayed has been investigated. We trust that this matter will be improved so no one else suffers the same problem."
“I cannot praise Nurse Masterson enough for the excellent care and attention she gave my husband who died on Ward 11. She went above and beyond what any of us expected. This nurse made the unbearable bearable. We will never forget her kindness, professionalism and devotion to those in her care, including my family. A wonderful, wonderful nurse.

"I would like to compliment all the staff in the IPU unit, this is the second time my wife has visited. Her treatment has been exemplary. I have on this occasion waited in reception and witnessed the caring of staff towards patients to the point of a sister sitting with a patient and telling him she would ring him in the evening to make sure he is ok then giving him a hug, another nurse came out and chatted and hugged the same person checking he had had a feed and saying to get home safely. The ladies on reception are very professional and treat all visitors like one of their own.” 40
