DANIELLE JOHNSON Danielle was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2016 at the age of 26 after having a scan which showed an 8cm ovarian mass. Danielle underwent treatment and surgery at The Christie and wanted to give something back, so she and her family and friends took part in Night of Neon in 2024.

“I was very lucky I was treated and cared for at The Christie. “The Christie is a special place to me. When I first attended an appointment, I thought it would be a sad place, but it was full of happiness, hope and support which put my mind at ease.” “The Christie is also a special place for my family. My mum and aunty are both currently being treated there. “The Night of Neon is an incredible event for the whole family. The entertainment and colours along the route are brilliant, and walking a 5k for a great cause makes you feel amazing. It’s a night full of fun and energy for everyone involved.”
