22,500 chemotherapy outreach treatments closer to home

In July we opened a new chemotherapy and blood service in Winsford in Cheshire, which will save many patients a round trip of up to three hours to our main site in South Manchester. We also announced a major new fundraising appeal to build a state of the art new cancer centre in the heart of East Cheshire. The new

Christie Cancer Centre will be built in the grounds of Macclesfield District General Hospital, providing Christie cancer care closer to home for more than 1,500 new patients a year.
